2013-06-25 tl;dr: I hiked up to the top of Indian Head and looped on the Old Bridle Path trail. Also saw a moose; sort of. Today is my last day in Lincoln.First thing in the morning I climbed up to Indian Head. It turns out all of this hiking and biking is catching up with me. It was only about a 4 mile hike, and it wasn't nearly as rugged as some of my earlier hikes, but I was still tired. Even so I worked up the ambition to head out later on the Old Bridle Path trail, looping back on the Greenleaf Trail. Later, back at the Mt Coolidge Motel I saw a moose! Sort of. There are moose tours here with guaranteed moose sightings. I think their intepretation of that is a bit liberal. |
