2011-03-20 tl;dr: More rain. More cold. Another short day. Another hotel. Another meal involving instant potatoes. It was mostly cold all day. It's colder now, and it's raining really hard. Again.Around 11 AM the clouds above Lompok ceased spewing rain, so I hit the road. A fearsome wind had my back, so I didn't have to work hard. A couple hours later the clouds resumed with the raining. Not long after that I was cold and miserable. Again. Fortunately, in this part of California hotels are plentiful. And for some reason they are cheap. So I stopped early. Again. I'm in Santa Maria. I really have nothing else to report. |
