Bishop Creek Lodge
I spent a good chunk of the week working up here. Everything is still closed down due to the snow, but everybody is working hard to get roads and buildings cleaned up and ready for when the season starts again in a month. If I am reading the map correctly everything here is above 8000 feet. That dark gray car to the right is my rental.

along Kern Canyon Road
Heading back to Bakersfield. Between the plains of Bakersfield and the almost-desert of Bishop are forested mountains. I took this picture from a pullout long Kern Canyon Road.
