tl;dr: If you are looking for a detailed write-up on visiting San Francisco, look elsewhere.

Here I am in San Francisco. I have a little time to kill. I think to myself, I should go outside and look around. But there are people out there. There are a lot of people out there. There are a lot of kinds of people doing all kinds of things.

Homeless folks are everywhere--much more homeless than me. Every time I went for a walk I was asked for money. Or directions. Every time.

For an introvert like me it's all very stressful.

Normally I take pleasure in photographing local curiosities. Every single block of this place has a full day's worth of curiosities. Perhaps someday I will return with a zeal to do some real photography. For now I present you with a full-mounted African lion standing on a stack of books in a picture window.

Should I do more exploring? I think I'll just read a book.
