2009-02-16 It rained all night, but subsided just at dawn. Very quiet. Borderline too cold. The forest roads through Francis Marion were nice. Highway 17 sucked. Anticipating a week of cold weather, I've settled in at the Seaside Inn on the touristy Isle of Palms where, because of my early arrival, I was given the black-hole of hotel rooms. Eventually I was able to move to a different room only to find out that the subcontracted WiFi was compromised by malware. After being informed of the problem the ISP agreed that it was their issue and fixed it. Now I can work. I'll be here for at least a couple of days. I want to get a bunch of work done so I can enjoy next week's predicted warm weather.
