2009-03-23 A short bike ride brought me to East Naples where I found a hotel and immediate pummeling by customers. I didn't mention this in my last update, but it turns out that BlackBerries, idiots, and salt water don't mix well. I killed it. But sometimes electronics can be resurrected. I left the phone under a hair drier for a few hours. No good. I then read that I should clean it with distilled water (yes, water) and pack it in rice for twenty-four hours. So now I'm using the hotel phone and limping along. We'll see how the phone recovers tomorrow. Oh, and I took more pictures of birds.
