Arkansas has nice roads. Since I've entered the state I've either been on empty roads or roads with wide shoulders suitable for biking.

Arkansas (and Mississippi now that I think about it) also has a lot of car washes. There may not be food or gas, but it seems every small town has someplace to wash your car.

The wind was to my back the entire day, which was almost troubling at times, because in order to cool down I would have to stop my bike and face south-east.

There were a lot of hills. I have a feeling that the easy roads I've known may be close to an end. Once again I am more sore than two months of biking would have predicted.

I am now in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I will be here most of the week as I deal with work.
