I visited some of our customers at PGA. They may now be reading this. So I guess nobody had better say anything else disparaging about my job.

I took a road that didn't exist on either of my maps. While coursing through orange groves I spotted a road kill pig. It was as big as a cow. I was a little scared.

For some reason many of the canals here have canadian goose decoys floating in them.

Highway 1A through me a curve today by splitting and not telling me. I ended up on Highway 1, which was no fun. When I eventually consulted my map I noticed some roads through Jonathan Dickinson State Park. So after ducking under a "Restricted Access" sign I found that the roads (as there were many) were quite pleasant. Apparently the whole park is an abandoned army training base. Eventually I found a road that was not restricted, but labeled "bike path". I very much enjoyed this route until it ended at a golf course and I was forced to backtrack and then walk my bike along a railroad for a mile.

It was my goal to camp out, but the only really private patch of forest available to me was choked with impenetrable mangroves. So I'm in a hotel.
