2009-04-10 After a week and a half I have finally left Cedar Key. My tire pump didn't. I was pleasantly surprised to find another rails-to-trails project from Chiefland to Cross City. Anything that keeps me off the main highway is welcome. All in all it was a pretty eventless day. I'm writing this from another tree farm where there is definitely an abundance of frogs and fire flies. Those fire ant bites are starting to go away.
