2009-04-18 The weather man said it was to rain and storm all day, so I decided to stay in Meridian. It did rain--a little. I walked over to the mall to do some shopping. You know how much I love shopping. I ended up with some new shorts. After two months of wear, sometimes I need to swap things out. I also went into a Best Buy to look at laptops (to geek out for the most part). Of course, a sales associate felt compelled to help me. I asked something along the lines of, "does 32 bit Vista really handle all 4 gig of memory in this laptop, because I would need it for running VMWare and I think I remember addressing issues?" She referred me to another associate, who gave me a pat sales "lie", which actually ended up being true, but I doubt if he knew it. Anyway, after two months on the road, it turns out I can no longer walk past a water fountain without feeling a compulsive desire to fill up my water bottles. It's supposed to rain and storm on Sunday as well, and I have work to catch up on, and I need to be working Monday, and this hotel has a waffle machine, so I will probably just stay here for a few days.
